One thing that clearly spoke to me this weekend is that I am, at the moment, living far too far away from my core. Getting away from the main track in life is not unusual. In fact it happens again and again in life. Quite often it is a good thing because we learn from it, we end up on this windling turning road where we feel quite lost.
Usually when I'm up there in the mountains on this off road something always seem to come along and push me right back on track. And then I remember: "oh, is this what life is all about" or "oh, is this why I have felt so shattered lately" or "oh, is this why I can't find my focus". Something bigger than me is guiding me gently right back. I can only stay off track for so many days or weeks. Then I am once again shown the light and i simply remember why I am here.
I believe we all have a mission, a plan of some sorts, a road carved out for us. That is not saying you can't change it. But it is a path you once agreed on taking. Today I once again was reminded of where I should be heading.
So how do we know? Simply remember the tools given to us. Intuition for one thing. How many times do we listen within, to that sometimes pretty strong voice, which tells oss where to go and what to do. We all have it. Some of us are simply not so good at listening to it. No wonder with all the noise surrounding us.
Keeping centred is also very important, we listen to our friends, facebook, the news, some leader and we go this way and that way. We try different diets, philosophies and sports, but we seldom stand up and centre ourselves and see: what do I really want. If our energeies are all over the place how can we know?
Ok, so how do we get there, how do we live more focused and more soulfully? I think there are as many roads as there are people and you need to find yours. But one tool which I find priceless is meditation. If you meditate regularly you will find you get more in tuned with who you are, your core, and you can hear your intuituion. But like with all things in life, it takes practice.
But as soon as you seem lost, disoriented, confused or simply uneasy. Sit down for five minutes a day and centre yourself, breathe and listen within. In time you will hear.
Good luck with your soulful life!
